The Azores belong to Portugal and are located far out in the Atlantic Ocean. Although the archipelago has an incredible amount to offer in terms of tourism, it is little visited apart from the main island of São Miguel. This ratio is also reflected in the travel guides. Many sights are neither mentioned in printed books nor in travel blogs. So every time I visited, it was a case of exploring, discovering and enjoying the view. So after my second visit to the archipelago, I decided to write and design a travel guide for each island. The idea is that all the booklets are available in every tourist information office and that travelers take the guides to the islands they visit on their round trip.

I would like to make the PDFs available to the general public for €5 per download so that everyone has the opportunity to discover the islands as I did. At the moment the booklets for São Jorge and soon also Pico are available.
